Perez Holds Arlington Scoreless Wednesday, August 7th , 2019 In a seemingly effortless performance, Jesus Perez of the El Paso Mavericks shot down the Arlington Stars, 4-0, on 5 hits. "Jesus was just locating so well and using his pitches," El Paso manager Matt Reuben said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Perez recorded 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Arlington manager Alex Rafuse said in postgame comments to BNN.
