Week's Best Player Honored by EAC Monday, August 5th , 2019 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Chris Gibson of St. Petersburg last week. The shortstop had quite a 7-game stretch and today he was named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Player of the Week. Gibson delivered 11 hits in 25 at-bats to hit .440 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. This year, Gibson has hit 3 home runs and posted a .273 batting average. |
