Brooklyn Loses Tyrell Rich, Will Miss Season Thursday, July 25th , 2019 Tyrell Rich will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Brooklyn reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Rich was injured while throwing a pitch in the Atlantics-Battalion clash at Atlantics Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a stretched elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 10 months. So far this season, in 4 relief appearances Rich has compiled an ERA of 3.86. He has pitched 21 innings, struck out 21, walked 22 and registered 1 save. |
