Season Possibly Over for Antonio Mata Sunday, July 21st , 2019 The Albuquerque Coyotes were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Antonio Mata sustained a damaged elbow ligament in a recent game against the El Paso Mavericks and will not play for 10 months. Mata was hurt throwing a pitch. This season to date, Mata has a record of 1 win and 3 losses with a 5.51 ERA, has appeared in 14 games and struck out 38 in 50.2 innings. |
