WAC's Top Player Named Monday, April 22nd , 2019 Tulsa Twisters left fielder Willie Ortiz had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Western Amateur Circuit named him Player of the Week. Ortiz banged out 12 hits in 29 at-bats on the way to a .414 batting average. He also racked up 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Thus far this year, Ortiz is batting .250 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
