Tuesday, September 24th , 2019
The manager of the Yuma Gnomes said he thinks Devonte Jamison is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 26, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2019 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Western Amateur Circuit Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .320 batting average and a .432 on-base percentage this year. In 119 games he piled up 126 hits, 24 doubles, 2 triples, 16 home runs, 62 RBIs and 68 runs scored.

He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Travis Budd of the San Diego Aztecs finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Marty Hall of the Albuquerque Coyotes finished third.
