Year Over for Sun Sox Zimmerman Tuesday, September 12th , 2017 Claus Zimmerman will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Miami (R) starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Zimmerman was injured while throwing a pitch in the Sun Sox-Motors clash at PBC Rookie Development Complex recently. Doctors said he has shoulder inflammation and would be out a minimum of 5 months. So far this season, Zimmerman has a record of 3-0 with 50 strikeouts and 64 walks in 61.1 innings and a 6.60 ERA. |
