Williams Shines, Shuts Out San Francisco (R), 1-0 Sunday, August 13th , 2017 The San Francisco (R) Peanuts were almost helpless in their 1-0 loss to the New York City (R) Blues and hurler Kyle Williams. Williams kept the Peanuts confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Williams," San Francisco (R) manager Sayf bin Imran said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 19-year-old right-hander had 3 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Williams said.
