No Playoff Berth Coming for Atlanta (R) Sunday, September 23rd , 2018 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Atlanta (R) Pilots has been extinguished, at least for 2018. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on the news, Pilots manager Mike Niemier issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. The Pilots have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 11 years as a PBC Rookie Complex League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2016. |
