Dawson Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, September 22nd , 2018 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Kevin Dawson walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the St. Louis (R) Lions in a career day at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but it was the Dallas (R) Texans who won the ballgame, 9-6. "My swing was really, really there," Dawson said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-5 and losing is better than 0-for-5 and losing, right?" Kevin Dawson hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Simpson in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jeremy Simpson in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
