Chicago (R) Starting Pitcher Out Monday, September 17th , 2018 Ferri Brouwer will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Chicago (R) starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Brouwer was injured while throwing a pitch in the Union-Peanuts clash at PBC Rookie Development Complex recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. Looking at his season stats, Brouwer has won 6 and lost 10, collecting 128 strikeouts and 58 walks in 142.2 innings with a 4.29 ERA. |
