Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Amador Friday, September 7th , 2018 Nelson Amador's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Boston (R) center fielder smacked 1 hit against the Toronto (R) Titans in today's game at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Shamrocks drop the game, 6-3. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Nelson Amador singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. This season, Amador is batting .343 with 96 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 48 times and has 31 RBI. |
