Torres Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, September 3rd , 2018 Javy Torres's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-6 in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Boston (R) Shamrocks at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The 19-year-old third baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Thunder. Javy Torres struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and singled in the 12th. This season, Torres is batting .403 with 40 RBIs, 36 runs scored and 12 home runs. |
