Zamarripa Grabs R Best Batter Award for August Saturday, September 1st , 2018 Alfredo Zamarripa made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the PBC Rookie Complex League this past month. The Philadelphia (R) Keystones first baseman shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old hit .419 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored. In the current season, Zamarripa has put up a .404 batting average with 93 hits, 22 home runs, 67 runs batted in and scored 63 runs. |
