Cerros Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, August 12th , 2018 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Cesar Cerros discovered that today at PBC Rookie Development Complex, as he smashed three home runs during the 9-2 Washington (R) Warriors win over the San Francisco (R) Peanuts. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Washington (R) third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Cerros finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 8 RBIs. Cesar Cerros hit a two-run home run off Bobby Clark in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Bobby Clark in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ricardo Rubi in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and walked in the 8th. So far this year, Cerros has hit .375 with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
