Nagamine Wins R Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 30th , 2018 The marquee name in the PBC Rookie Complex League this week is Yaichiro Nagamine of the Los Angeles (R) Knights. The hot-hitting 19-year-old right fielder put up a .421 average and .542 on-base percentage, piling up 8 hits in 19 at-bats, 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the R Player of the Week honors. So far this year, Nagamine has hit .394 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
