Boston (R) Moves on to Championship Cup Saturday, October 6th , 2018 The championship aspirations of the Boston (R) Shamrocks are still alive and well, while the Detroit (R) Motors are left to wait until next year. Boston (R) won the clinching game of the Cup Qualifier 3-0 over Detroit (R) at PBC Rookie Development Complex, to win the series 3-1. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said second baseman Luis Zumaya, who paced the Boston (R) offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Zumaya claimed the MVP by racking up 7 hits for a .500 average, with a .611 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 4 runs.
