PBC Rookie Complex League Selects September's Best Batter Monday, October 1st , 2018 Alfredo Zamarripa has a lot going for him. The Philadelphia (R) first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the PBC Rookie Complex League has just picked him as its top hitter for September. In 24 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .355 with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This season, Zamarripa is swinging the bat at a .390 rate with 126 hits in 323 at-bats. To date he has hit 31 home runs, scored 90 runs and driven in 91. |
