Roux Sparkles in 3-0 Blanking of Oil City Sunday, September 2nd , 2018 The Boston Battalion did little to support starter Garrett Roux against the Oil City Oilers, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Oilers, striking out 6 and surrendering 4 hits. The performance from Roux allowed Boston to escape with the 3-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Garrett, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Roux told BNN reporters following the win.
