Western Amateur Circuit Winner is New Orleans Buccaneers Sunday, September 2nd , 2018 The pennant has been won, the New Orleans Buccaneers are champions of the Western Amateur Circuit. Starting Pitcher Enrique Mendez said his team is a "gritty and determined" club that were poised to win the division from day one. "We knew the day the season opened that we'd be champions," he said. "It was just a matter of going out there and doing it." At the helm, team manager Aaron Kayser said his club is certainly not short on confidence. "There's a lot of belief in the dugout and in the clubhouse," he said. New Orleans's record currently sits at 80-63 and it's the 4th division win for the franchise. |
