Gnomes Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 2nd , 2018 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Yuma Gnomes. Club manager William Conant said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Gnomes last missed the playoffs in 2016. In the 16 years they have been a Amateur Baseball Circuit franchise, they have missed the playoffs 14 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Gnomes have only made the playoffs once. Yuma last won the Amateur Circut Cup in 2017. |
