Manchester's Suarez Injured, Out of Lineup Thursday, August 23rd , 2018 Ivan Suarez of the Manchester Monarchs was injured in today's game against Franklin and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation, and he is expected to be out for up to 4-5 months. It happened while Suarez was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this season, Suarez has a record of 12-7 with 141 strikeouts and 68 walks in 143.1 innings and a 4.65 ERA. |
