Mills Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, August 20th , 2018 Nobody has been able to shut down Providence Grays first baseman Matt Mills in recent days. The Brooklyn Atlantics fared no better than the rest. Today at Providence Field, Mills picked up 3 hits in 4 at-bats en route to a win, 5-2. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Matt Mills singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. Mills is hitting .331 in 2018 with 79 RBIs and 20 home runs. |
