Western Amateur Circuit Announces #1 Player Monday, August 20th , 2018 This week he took his hitting to another level. That's why Nick Culbertson of the El Paso Mavericks was named the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week. For the week the 25-year-old right fielder batted .591 (13-for-22) with 4 home runs, 7 runs and 11 RBIs. So far this season, Culbertson is hitting .320 with 15 home runs, 54 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
