Simental Raps Albuquerque for 5 Hits Saturday, August 4th , 2018 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Dave Simental. Simental went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Albuquerque pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Coyote Park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the San Diego Aztecs had a win, 13-6, over the Coyotes. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Dave Simental hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Juan Diaz in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
