Vacaville, Edmonton Agree to Swap Monday, December 24th , 2018 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Vacaville Steelheads and the Edmonton Drillers. As part of the deal, the Steelheads swapped 24-year old minor league LHP Aiichiro Uehara and 24-year old 3B Dimitrije Zecevic to the Drillers getting 30-year old RF Salvador Reyes in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. |
