Schwartz, de Castro Swap Teams Tuesday, December 11th , 2018 Allentown and Vancouver have swapped players. The Fleetwings announced today that they have sent 26-year old RF Valdemar Schwartz and 22-year old minor league CF Brian Avery to the Grizzlies in exchange for 34-year old 1B Jose de Castro and 24-year old minor league C Jamie Newhouse. In 274 games de Castro has a career .254 batting average and a .350 on-base percentage. He has hit 44 home runs with 140 RBIs and 106 runs scored. |
