Kinnersley Suffers Heatstroke
Saturday, December 8th , 2018
Arthur Kinnersley of the Allentown Fleetwings was hospitalized earlier today after suffering what doctors described as mild heatstroke.
Kinnersley had reportedly been working outdoors at his offseason home where the temperature was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. According to Fleetwings manager Dorek Bolesta, who spoke with Kinnersley by phone, the reliever was in good condition and will probably be released from the hospital tomorrow.
"He just sort of overdid it a little bit," said Bolesta. "He's already feeling a lot better."
Team doctor Dan Carlson says it's extremely unlikely that Kinnersley will suffer any lingering effects and should be fully recovered in time for spring training.
