Detroit, Hamilton Agree to Deal Saturday, November 24th , 2018 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Detroit and Hamilton have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 30-year old LHP Butch Cagle to the Tigers with 22-year old 3B Elliott McGhee and 24-year old CF Ruben Herrera joining the Chargers. Detroit general manager Nick Sumter would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Since his debut, Cagle has marked up 31 wins and 25 losses and fashioned an ERA of 3.74. He has fanned 499 batters while pitching 529 innings. |
