Newark-Vacaville Deal Confirmed Sunday, November 18th , 2018 Newark and Vacaville announced today in a joint press conference that 29-year old C Kevin Rosenbaum and 21-year old minor league 1B Januarius Slusarczyk will be going to the Steelheads in exchange for 28-year old RHP Jeff Butler. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. His all-time numbers show Rosenbaum is carrying a .250 career batting average with 18 home runs and 63 RBIs. During his career, Butler has recorded 4 wins and 7 losses with a 4.74 ERA and limited other teams to a .282 average. |
