2018 Top Player Honored By WSPC Wednesday, November 7th , 2018 Ryan Eye took Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24. For his spectacular campaign, the Winnipeg Buffaloes star has been named the 2018 Western Semi-Pro Circuit Most Valuable Player Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder. On the season he compiled a .314 batting average to go with a .374 on-base percentage. The native of Santa Fe, New Mexico also added 23 doubles, 7 triples, 21 home runs, 73 RBIs and 84 runs scored. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mike Leland of the Green Bay Braves finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Andrew Kruse of the Edmonton Drillers finished third.
