WSPC Rookie of the Year Award Handed Out Sunday, November 4th , 2018 It was a good season for Winnipeg's Ryan Eye, capped off today by the announcement that he has been named the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Rookie of the Year Award winner. The talented center fielder hit .314 in 159 games this season, racking up 184 hits, 21 home runs, 73 RBIs and 84 runs scored. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ryan Eddie of the Saskatoon Moose finished second in voting, while Gabriel Mercado of the Calgary Caracals finished third.
