Ruiz Gets September's Rookie Trophy Monday, October 1st , 2018 The Rookie of the Month Award has been selected and the Western Semi-Pro Circuit honor went to Mexico City hurler, Danny Ruiz. For his excellent outings in September he has been named the league's top rookie. During the month in 0 starts, Ruiz was superb with a 2.41 ERA and 4 wins and no losses.
