Western Semi-Pro Circuit Names #1 Pitcher in September Monday, October 1st , 2018 The pick for the Western Semi-Pro Circuit's best pitcher in September is relief specialist, Danny Ruiz. The Mexico City pitcher compiled a great month to take home the award. "I just go out there and try and get the job done," Ruiz told the press. "Things worked out real well last month and I appreciate the recognition." The 27-year-old reliever threw 18.2 innings in 10 relief appearances as he piled up 4 saves, 27 strikeouts, and notched a 4-0 record and 2.41 ERA for the month. To date this year Ruiz has 18 saves with a 11-9 mark and 4.15 ERA. |
