Aztecas Win Play-in Series Friday, September 28th , 2018 With a 8-5 win to wrap up the series at Ballpark of Vacaville, the Mexico City Aztecas have eliminated the Vacaville Steelheads in the Play-in Series and move on to the Circuit Championship Series. Mexico City controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 2-0 sweep. Steve Curtiss led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .444 batting average, along with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."
