Monster 3-HR Day for Goddard Monday, September 24th , 2018 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Caracals Stadium buzzing, Calgary Caracals catcher Josh Goddard blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 16-10, over the Saskatoon Moose. "Everything was clicking," Goddard told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Goddard shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Caracals manager Dorian Harmon said. "Josh played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Josh Goddard struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Steve Estrada in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Joe Bell in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Bell in the 7th and grounded out in the 7th. Goddard is hitting .219 this year with 10 home runs and 31 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .317, 44 walks and scored 35 times. |
