It was a parade of hits for Eric Lamb of the Southern California Empires at Drillers Field.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lamb finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Empires to a win, 6-4.

"Lamb was really good and we were really bad," groaned Drillers manager Fernando Torres. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Eric Lamb doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and doubled in the 10th.
