"Arturo was just locating so well and using his pitches," Hamilton manager Pat McDowell said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Ottawa manager Andy Faith said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
