R Awards Player of the Week Monday, September 4th , 2017 This week PBC Rookie Complex League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Raul Lara really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented El Paso (R) hitting machine produced a .571 batting average, 2 home runs, 8 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 RBIs and 5 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the R Player of the Week honors. Lara is hitting .272 this year with 19 home runs and 59 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .370, 33 walks and scored 44 times. |
