Merrill Cracks 6 Hits Monday, August 28th , 2017 All game long, St. Louis (R)'s Ryan Merrill was rattling the walls at PBC Rookie Development Complex and banging out base hits against the Toronto (R) Titans. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 6-hit day and the Lions had a win, 16-12. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 19-year-old right fielder said, "Get 6 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Ryan Merrill singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Justin Amundson in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
