Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Figueroa Friday, August 18th , 2017 The hot bat of Mavericks center fielder Rafael Figueroa continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-3 in today's 6-2 loss to the Thunder at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Rafael Figueroa walked in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Figueroa has 21 home runs and a .301 batting average. |
