Figueroa Crushes 3 Homers Against Toronto (R) Saturday, August 12th , 2017 Whatever Rafael Figueroa ate for breakfast before his game against the Toronto (R) Titans, it gave him some impressive power. The Houston (R) center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at PBC Rookie Development Complex. His home run barrage helped the Mavericks defeat the Titans, 7-6. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 3 and put on a display that history will remember. Rafael Figueroa hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Soto in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Soto in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, walked in the 10th and hit a solo-shot off Jorge Martinez in the 12th. For the year, Figueroa has hit .271 with 18 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 34 runs. |
