Pena Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Thursday, July 20th , 2017 Sergio Pena of the Detroit (R) Motors has now hit safely in 25 straight games. He socked 3 hits in today's 4-2 triumph over Philadelphia (R) at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "25 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Pena said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Sergio Pena hit a solo-shot off Isaias Valdez in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Eddie Azua in the 8th. Thus far this year, Pena is batting .392 with 13 home runs, 28 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
