Hill Selected R's Top Pitcher Monday, October 30th , 2017 Ed Hill of the Detroit (R) Motors impressed voters as one of the elite pitchers in the PBC Rookie Complex League this year. He capped off a sensational 10-6 season by taking home the coveted Pitcher of the Year Award today. Making 22 starts, he tossed 158 innings, struck out 181, walked 28 and registered a 2.39 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Guillermo Tulk of the Boston (R) Shamrocks finished second in voting, while Roberto Franco of the Washington (R) Warriors finished third.
