St. Louis (R) Takes Cup Qualifier Friday, October 6th , 2017 The St. Louis (R) Lions are one step closer to the Championship Cup. The club prevailed 18-5 at PBC Rookie Development Complex tonight to eliminate the Houston (R) Mavericks and advance to the Championship Cup. The Lions won the series by a 3-1 margin, with center fielder and series MVP Jesus Gonzalez leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," Gonzalez said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
