Red-Hot September Lands Silva Batting Prize in R Sunday, October 1st , 2017 For a rookie just breaking in, Manny Silva certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the R Batter of the Month award for September. The 17-year-old left fielder for the Los Angeles (R) Knights hit .387 with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
