St. Louis (R) Crowned Kings of the Rookie Complex League South Division Tuesday, September 26th , 2017 The St. Louis (R) Lions have accomplished the "first step in a long journey" tonight, according to second baseman Chris Khaled. "Rookie Complex League South Division champions has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? But we're not done yet, this is just the beginning," he said. Khaled, of course, is referring to trying to win the 1st Championship Cup in team history. "We won't be happy until we're champions of PBC Rookie Complex League." With a record of 48-36, St. Louis (R)'s crown is the 2nd division title for the franchise. |
