Playoffs Won't Happen for Cutthroats Wednesday, September 20th , 2017 They put up a valiant effort, but the Denver (R) Cutthroats didn't have what it takes to make the PBC Rookie Complex League playoffs in 2017. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Cutthroats center fielder Eddie Cortez. The Cutthroats have missed the playoffs 7 times in their 10 years as a PBC Rookie Complex League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2013. |
