Boston Reliever Named EAC #1 Pitcher Friday, September 1st , 2017 The pick for the Eastern Amateur Circuit's best pitcher in August is relief specialist, Seth Wilson. The Boston pitcher compiled a great month to take home the award. "I just go out there and try and get the job done," Wilson told the press. "Things worked out real well last month and I appreciate the recognition." The 26-year-old reliever threw 19.1 innings in 12 relief appearances as he piled up 4 saves, 26 strikeouts, and notched a 5-0 record and 3.72 ERA for the month. In 32 relief appearances this season, Wilson has chalked up 10 saves with 51 strikeouts in 53.1 innings, 9-3 won-lost mark and a 4.39 earned run average. |
