EAC Honors Morales, Best Hitter in August Friday, September 1st , 2017 St. Petersburg Pelicans fans believe they've got a talented young star in Benito Morales. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .343 with 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 27 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Batter of the Month. This season, Morales has hit at a .327 clip with 51 RBIs, 19 home runs and 75 runs scored. |
